For the first time in our City’s history, a broad coalition of Milwaukee Public Schools, charter, and private schools – along with civic and business leaders, and parent advocates – is uniting around a single goal: ensure that all Milwaukee children develop the foundational literacy skills needed to read at grade level by third grade.
